TESTIMONIALS

'Linda, thankyou so much for your patience, professionalism, dedication, passion, and mind blowing ideas that all unfolded as you were creating the text for my website!

You immediately fell into the scene I was attempting to set and came back (so quickly, I might add) with content that pinpointed exactly what I was trying to say!

Your customer service skills are to be commended and it was such a pleasure dealing with you. You delivered a piece that exceeded all expectations and I cannot recommend your services highly enough!

Thankyou so much!!'

'I just wanted to say WOW, WOW, WOW!

I got Linda to do some emails for me to send to customers when they have an initial enquiry and also to send them when I send a quote to them.

All I can say is every person that has initially enquired in the last week, which has been about 18 now, has come back to ask for a quote. This is fantastic.

And when I send the quotes off to people with her letter attached, most of them are coming back asking for samples.

What fantastic work she does. Brilliant with words and such a lovely person to deal with!

I definitely recommend Linda without a doubt and will be getting some more work done in the very near future!!!

Thanks Linda.'

There's one thing I never charge you for (everyone else does).

Find out what it is and why you get it for free »

First meeting and basic layout of project are not charged for. Revisions will be included (if necessary) at no extra cost to you.

OR

2. Project rate: We discuss your needs, I lay out a plan of your requirements, then offer a quote for the total cost price.

To give you a ballpark idea of rates, examples of approximate costing ranges for some services are listed below. For more information on these services or those not listed please drop me a line.

  • Press release: $80.00 to $150.00
  • Brochure copy: $100.00 - $600.00
  • Web page copy: from $40 per page
  • Article: $50.00 to $300.00

All rates above are suggestions only.

Each and every project is different. A final rate can only be quoted once I know precisely what you want from your copy, and how much work will be necessary to achieve your goal.

Proofreading and Editing:

Hourly rate or project rates depending on size of task.

The fine print...

General:

I generally require a signed agreement or acceptance of terms via email or fax before commencing copywriting or proofreading/editing work. The agreement will be sent to you via email attachment for you to return before work begins.

Smaller projects will be exempt from this.

New clients or projects above $1000 may be subject to an initial deposit fee of 30% of the total estimated cost.

Copyright:

Rights to use written material will not pass to you until your fee has been paid in full.

I am not responsible or liable for client-supplied material such as existing web content, internal company documents, etc.

Once full payment has been made, you own the rights to all work created for you, with the exception of portfolio rights. This means you can do anything you want with it and reuse it any way you see fit.

I reserve the right to use your project in hard copy and electronic form (on my web site) in my portfolio.

If you have confidentiality concerns, portfolio rights are always negotiable.

Revisions:

Should revisions be necessary, I will complete these promptly, as requested, and at no additional charge. This is provided that such requested revisions are reasonable and made within 14 days of your receipt of the copy and are not based on a fundamental change in the assignment.

Client Approval:

You are responsible for the approval of any work ordered for the project to be considered complete. The approval can be via email or fax.

Upon approval of the completed project you accept responsibility for any further processes in which the work is used (i.e. printing, etc.). I will not be held responsible for errors occurring in the work or projects related to the work after acceptance of the project.

Expenses:

You will not be charged for any minor, out-of-pocket expenses required to complete the project. This includes phone, fax, internet, e-mail and courier. In the uncommon event an expense needs to be charged, you will be notified in advance for approval.

Cancellation or Changes:

If the parameters of a project change, or if the project involves a significantly greater amount of time than originally estimated, I will contact you immediately so we can renegotiate the fee.

Should you need to cancel or place any project on hold, you will be invoiced for all work completed to that date. You are responsible for payment of all expenses incurred and any work done based on the percentage of the project already completed at the time of cancellation.

Should you cancel the project following its completion, you are responsible for full payment as per the agreed upon project terms.

Payment and Collection:

An invoice will be sent upon your acceptance of the final copy. Final payment will be due net 30 days from the invoice date.

Payments can be made via direct debit, cheque, or cash.
